Mariter is a company of Gruppo Colorobbia, which provides a complete integrated logistics services system at Livorno,Tuscany’s largest port and one of the most important ports in Italy and of the entire Mediterranean Sea.

Mariter manages containers being loaded on/unloaded from container vessels at its own terminal, which occupies a large area 500 meters from the docks, capable of receiving and handling large quantities of goods.

Thanks to its strategic location in the centre of an intermodalcommunications node (roads, motorways and railways), Mariter is able to provide transfer services straight from the docks or its own terminal, with short journey times to the main industrial areas of northern and central-southern Italy,apart from Europe as a whole.

A team of logistics specialists ensures optimal handlingof goods and continual monitoring of shipments, assuring customers reliability and continual improvement of the quality of services delivered.

The recently constructed new facilities are the outcome of huge investments and are organised in line with the latest handling equipment technologies.

LAND TERMINAL TECHNICAL DATA

• 10,000 square meters of indoor warehousing, 4,000 of this for foreign goods in a private customs and treasurer warehouse and the remaining 6,000 square meters for domestic goods, in 5 warehouses of 1000 square meters each;

• 40,000 square meters of perimeter area protected by a 3 meters wall and alarms directly connected to the security service;
